It is reccommended to make sure your tank is placed on a stand or cabinet the is specifically designed to hold an aquarium. Make sure it is level and sturdy before placing your aquarium on it. Proper support on all four corners of the aquarium is esssantial to prevent stress along the lengths of the seams. Failing to do this may cause stress cracks and leaks.
Key point: an aquarium weighs approximately 10 pounds per gallon.
